UNOPS welcomed the United Nations Sri Lanka Resident Coordinator Marc Andre France, during his visit to the Northern Province together with Vriddhi and its civil society partners. The Resident Coordinator held discussions in Mullaitivu with members of the civil society on pressing issues such as protection, drug trafficking and SGBV. He also engaged with communities from Mannar to discuss their right to return and engage in agriculture, fishing and enjoy their land rights. Vriddhi aims to build resilient communities and civil society through reconciliation and social cohesion with the support of the SDG Fund.
