The 3rd edition of the Vriddhi Festival in Kilinochchi : A Celebration of Civil Society.
Over 1, 500 participants, civil society organisations, students, artists, community leaders, social activists, youth groups, and the public joined us at Kilinochchi Central College for 2 days of learning, collaboration, and celebration!
For two inspiring days, the festival buzzed with energy : we fostered insightful conversations, engaged in thought provoking trainings, participated in lively panel discussions, and enjoyed informative sessions, film screenings, and vibrant cultural performances.
Here's a glimpse of what happened:
90+ CSOs gained valuable skills in AI, GIS, Interactive sessions on "Know Your Rights" and Ethics empowered participants to advocate for their communities.
A vibrant exhibition showcased the achievements of 26 organisations, artists from Northern Province, local artisans and small entrepreneurs.
Engaging performances kept the energy high! Drama, traditional dance, insightful panel discussions, thought-provoking movie screenings, and powerful events on current issues and challenges in the Northern Province captivated the audience.
The Vriddhi Festival provided a crucial platform for CSOs to connect, share experiences, and build stronger partnerships. It also offered the public a unique opportunity to engage with their local advocates and learn about critical issues impacting their communities.
